Mark Lieb [Clarinet] Mark Lieb received a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance from Northwestern University, studying with Robert Marcellus, and a Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from The Juilliard School, studying with David Shifrin. He has performed with the Columbus Symphony, New World Symphony, Bronx Arts Ensemble, Essential Music, Vanguard Chamber Players, Speculum Musicae, and is the founder of the Phoenix Ensemble. With various groups he has toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has recorded with New World Records, Mode Records, Newport Classics, Dorian, and BMG Classics labels.
